The Executive Group is comprised of a cross-section of the Business Community in order that it can be representative of the local economy. Its purpose is to plan activities and events, plus monitor the progress of the Business Network.

The Executive Group meets approximately every 6 to 8 weeks, however can call extraordinary meetings if required. Darren Race, MD of e4 Learning Solutions Ltd. is Chairman and Syd Howarth of Newton Press is the Vice Chairman.

The Business Network works closely with Sedgefield Borough Council and in close partnership with SASDA Ltd. the Development Agency for Sedgefield Borough. Our strap line ‘Promoting Growth & Prosperity in Sedgefield Borough’ sums up the strategic aim and purpose of the Forum.
